The city is also home to the Aeros minor league hockey club. The Aeros used to play in the defunct IHL but not play in the World Hockey Association. The city of Sugar Land also features the minor league Skeeters baseball club. They play at Constellation Field located on North Highway 6. The club features fireworks celebrations nearly every night during their regular season. The field has also played host to several community events, along with religious festivals and even local carnivals.
